Marshall is a talented singer, pianist, songwriter, and educator with a distinctive combination of educational and practical qualifications. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Jazz Music Performance from York University. As an experienced private music teacher, he is equipped to teach voice, piano, music theory, and even guitar.

Deeply inspired by the artistry of legends like Hank Williams, Ray Charles, Nina Simone, and Tom Waits, Marshall has spent countless hours immersing himself in their sounds, which he skillfully weaves into a voice that is uniquely his own. His passion for music began with a guitar in hand, and he later honed his skills on the piano, which has become his primary instrument.

Marshall performs regularly, both as a solo artist and with his band, while continuously working on new musical albums and projects. As a teacher, he is patient and understanding, conducting lessons in a way that is fun, supportive, and educational, fostering a love for music in his students.
