Michelle is a versatile artist specializing in R&B, Hip Hop, Pop, Jazz, and Musical Theatre, with experience in both classical and contemporary music. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Vocal Jazz from York University and honed her skills in Classical Voice and Piano through the Royal Conservatory of Music. In Toronto, she has studied under esteemed musicians such as Mike Murley, Kelly Jefferson, Mike Cado, Sacha Williamson, and Karen Burke, receiving valuable mentorship in Music Production, Songwriting, and Artist Development.

With a diverse background as a vocal coach, soloist, choir member, backup vocalist, studio session singer, and section leader, Michelle has performed at venues like Hughes Room, Rivoli, and Mod Club Theatre, as well as recording studios including Phase One Studios, Coalition Music, and AstroLab Studios Inc. She has taught students of all ages, from eager four-year-old beginners to lifelong musicians honing their skills at 74. Her extensive experience includes directing and mentoring novice singers in group and choral settings.

Michelle takes pride in helping countless singers discover their vocal potential, refine their unique sound, and rekindle their passion for music. Her students have achieved a remarkable 100% success rate in gaining admission to secondary and post-secondary music programs, often with Honours or Honours with Distinction.

Believing in the importance of a supportive and nurturing environment, Michelle encourages her students to experiment with their voices and explore their capabilities. As an artist herself, she understands the significance of having a dedicated coach and mentor in one’s musical journey.
